The album · 2025
Five songs whose words were published as poems before they were ever sung — love that behaves like faith, approached from five directions.

I have been writing Hindi poetry for more than thirty-five years, long before any of it was ever sung. In 2025 the poems started becoming songs. I write every word myself and direct how each one sounds; the technology is an instrument in the room, not the author.

Let the words sing. Let the melodies speak.
A boy writes something about life and does not stop writing for the next thirty-five years.
A hundred poems collected into a book — devotion, tenderness, satire, grief, and the ordinary business of being alive.
The first poem to be sung rather than read. Everything since has followed from it.
Five songs, one record — an album built entirely on original Hindi verse.
Ghazals, dance tracks, songs for mothers and fathers and daughters, and an anthem for anyone living between two countries.

The book
The collection the songs came out of. Devotion and heartbreak sit next to humour and social satire, because that is how a heart actually works.
Several of these poems are now tracks you can hear on this site.
